Happy 66th Birthday!


Dear Dusty,


I'm so glad you were born, because you brighten my life and fill it with joy. I wanted to be the first one this June 24th to wish you the best year yet & a happy birthday! My Dusty often asks the question ~ What a life? And I can honestly say that by observation your life has been one of the very best I have ever had the pleasure to witness. Your journey has been an example to all. You have loved, lost, laughed, danced, cried, been poor, been rich, experienced success and challenges, been happy & even seen sadness throughout your lifetime but triumphed to a happy place beyond it all. Growing up hard taught you to appreciate the good things that life brought your way. The world is full of problems whether it is in Thailand or the US but regardless of where you are in the whole wide world, you have found the peace within yourself that we all aspire to. Seeing the “bright side” and choosing love over hate has made you shine both inside and outside.


Your birthday is a celebration of a love & and a beautiful life. It is the celebration of a very special life that changed mine for the better. There is a saying that I think of when I think of you which is “You may be one person in the world or the world to one person”. You mean the world to me, and I will always love you until the end of time. Even through the ups and downs our understanding and love for each other has been a highlight of my life. I think back to the day when you were a young entrepreneur building a business on a unique concept of love, care, peace & happiness. I was a young uneducated mother looking for an opportunity to better my life which you gave me. It is many years later and I believe that karma brought us together so that we could take care of each other in our own way. Meeting you in 1995 has been a blessing. My journey has been better with your love, mentoring, friendship and you taught me to look at the world through a set of rose colored glasses and see the good in many basic things.


I will forever appreciate you and love you for all the good things you brought to my life both personally & professionally. Happiness is a state of mind that is a choice, and I believe that your choice to be happy will keep you young & healthy with the best quality of life. I look forward to celebrating your birthday today and for at least 20 more. I hope that when you are 86, that we are reflecting on many more good times with friends, family and telling our stories to the Luck & the Marse’s children. It will be fun. I honestly believe that your best years are still ahead of you. Your desire to continue learning every day and being the best that you can be is the trait of a humble man with a down to earth spirit. It is a wonderful quality.


Your love and friendship has been a gift to me, so today I hope to show you my love & friendship as a gift back to you. Enjoy your day my dearest Friend and I look forward to sharing it with you. May this special birthday bring to you all things that make you smile.
